Keynsham Winter Festival 2015

Keynsham Winter Festival 2015

The evening will once again mark the start of the countdown to Christmas in Keynsham, with the festive lights switch-on and the annual procession of local children and costumed characters taking place.
This year’s Winter Festival will be a “truly Keynsham evening”, say organisers, who are ringing the changes this November to encourage more members of the community to get involved.

Popular story Peter Pan is the theme for this year’s festive event, which will take place on Friday, November 27, from 6-9pm.

Why not come along and join our community event. This year’s theme is ‘Peter Pan’ and on the spot fancy dress prizes will be awarded to the best dressed fairies and pirates. Watch the procession that will be leaving from Charlton Road and making its way up the High Street to the stage which will be based in Temple Street. Enjoy performances of music, song, dance and acting on the stage and in the Community Space. There will be stalls on the High Street and in the Fear Hall and many of the local shops will be open for you to do some early Christmas shopping for gifts.

Join in the count down, as we turn on the Christmas lights for 2015. (Lights will go on at approximately 6.45pm).
