FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
: BATHROOMS
1.
How easy is it to take out our bath and fit a
shower cubicle?
Generally
it is quite straightforward. As many as 50% of
our bathroom installations involve removal of
the bath and replacing it with a shower cubicle.
We specialise in Matki Showers and we have numerous
on display in our showrooms. Matki showers are
very high quality and they have a very wide range
to provide an optimal solution for every situation.
Your Designer will advise you of the options available
to you and recommend the best course of action.
2.
We want to get more storage into the bathroom.
Can you help?
Yes. Timbercraft are Specialists in the supply
and installation of bathroom fitted furniture.
3. Can
you create an extra bathroom in a spare bedroom?
Yes. We quite often create en-suite bathrooms
by building a complete new room within an existing
bedroom or by converting a small bedroom into
a bathroom. Removing dividing walls to make a
larger room is also something we have lots of
experience of doing.
4. We only have
one toilet at present. How do you ensure that
we have a functioning toilet at all times?
Every effort is made during an installation to
ensure that basic services are available. We never
leave people overnight without a WC, even if this
means putting in a temporary service.
5. We would like
to conceal various unsightly pipes in the bathroom.
Can you help?
One of the great advantages of "back to wall"
furniture is that the units conceal much of the
pipe work. You should discuss particular issues
like this with your Designer.
6. Can you provide
facilities for a disabled person?
Yes. Many of our installations involve providing
facilities for disabled people. In some circumstances
the work can be zero rated for VAT. Ask your designer
for details if you feel you may qualify.
7. We need various
building work doing before we can start on the
bathroom. Other Companies have been reluctant
to get involved in this aspect of the job. Can
you help?
Timbercraft is organised to cope with fully comprehensive
installations, including preparatory building
work. This type of activity is one of our main
strengths.
