Building Work
Timbercraft will undertake various building works in association with its installations. We recognise that historically builders can be unreliable thus making it very difficult for people to project manage work that involves any building work in preparation for a kitchen or bathroom installation. We take on many installations which involve building work, thus giving our clients the peace of mind that the total project will be managed as a continuum and that their domestic disruption will be kept to a minimum.
Electrical Work
Recent regulations have effectively made it illegal for non qualified people to take on electrical work. All domestic electrics now need to carry a PART P Certificate and it is likely that evidence that a house is PART P Certified will become an obligatory part of selling a house.
All electrical work undertaken by Timbercraft is PART P Certified.
Plumbing and Gas Fitting
All of our kichen installers are qualified to plumb sinks, washing machines and dishwashers. In addition all gas work needs to carried out by Corgi Registered Installers and all Timbercraft gas work is carried out by suitably qualified people.
Our specialist plumbers are able to relocate radiators, if this necessitated by a change of layout in a kitchen or bathroom.
Occasionally our clients need to replace or relocate a gas boiler and we can also undertake this work ourselves. If you have anything like this that needs to be done, discuss it with our Designer.
Kitchen, Bathroom and Bedroom Installations
The supply and installation of fitted kitchens, bedrooms and fitted bathrooms furniture is our business. Most of our fitters are now PAYE employees but we also use a small number of self employed people who work exclusively for us.
All of our fitters work to the very highest of standards. Timbercraft, as a Company, demand this. All of our installations are carefully supervised at all times by our Installation Supervisors.
General Carpentry
Most of our installers are carpenters by trade. We are well equipped to undertake various aspects of general carpentry as part of our installations, eg building stud walls, fitting new doors and windows etc. Discuss your requirements with your Designer.
Tiling
Timbercraft employ a number of specialist tilers.
We carry a comprehensive range of tiles to choose from in our Showrooms. We also do other forms of flooring. Ask your Designer for details.
Decorating
Increasingly we are being asked to decorate rooms as the final part of an installation.
This is an activity that we are now well equipped to carry out. Ask your Designer for details.
